Hitachi Cable's subsidiary Hitachi Cable Europe (HCE) has built a new automotive component manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic to raise sales in the Europe.

The new 3,200m2 is expected to begin its commercial production from February 2013 by hiring 36 employees.

Hitachi Cable's new facility is to meet demand in automotive components market in various regions in the world and to further broaden its global supply networks in the market.

According to the company, European market, where the company currently manufactures brake hoses, is expected to secure continual growth in the future.

HCE is also targeting to double its brake hose production capacity by the fiscal year ending 31 March 2016, three years following the beginning of operations.
