Chung Hung Steel (CHS), the subsidiary company of Taiwan's China Steel Corp. and also one of the major API welding pipe makers in Taiwan, said its new Changhua coastal industrial Park's welding pipe plant has been expected to start its official operation in 2014.

As soon as this new plant to start production, the company will try to get shale oil pipe orders from US market.

CHS said the API welding pipe should be able to use on shallow shale; therefore, they will devote on getting orders from shale oil market in the coming future.
